MISSION STATEMENT

Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house,

they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the

good news that Jesus is the Christ.

(Acts:  5:42 – NIV)

PROCLAIM is a dramatic arts company based at Crossroads Community Church under the direction of K&S Ministries.  This group consists of people who have developed their God-given talents to provide the message of Jesus Christ through the creative arts.  This is accomplished through the mediums of blacklight theatre, puppetry, clowning, interpretive movement, vocals, and music.  PROCLAIM has ministered in migrant camps, multi-family housing projects, theatres, and subdivisions as well as conventions, churches and schools.  The members of PROCLAIM range in age from 10 years old to over 60.  The size of the team averages between 25-35 people from a variety of church bodies and denominations.  PROCLAIM members are madly in love with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and keep our mission statement close to heart.

Internship Program

K&S Ministries presently provides internship programs focusing on puppetry, blacklight theatre, clowning, and interpretive movement.   Interns become temporary members of PROCLAIM to receive on-the-job type training for a specific period of time.  After their respective internships, individuals return to their home churches to start or strengthen an already established Creative Arts Ministry.

Permanent Membership

Requirements

Membership shall be offered to those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior by faith, and who believe the Bible to be the only verbal, plenary, inspired, infallible word of God.  This includes individuals who have memberships in various church bodies and denominations; providing they accept the Crossroads Doctrine of Faith and their church does not have an active, ongoing Creative Arts Ministry.
